13 giugno 1999, il 3quietmen suona al Festival Jazz di Magdeburgo, primo concerto di una delle formazioni più interessanti della scena jazz contemporanea, dimostrando da subito l’internazionalità del loro progetto.
Aprile 2008, il trio è stato chiamato ad esibirsi nella splendida Concert Hall della Città Proibita di Pechino, dopo una tournèe in Cina che ha toccato le città di Sheniang, Dalian e Changsha.
Dieci anni di attività con una mappa di appuntamenti significativi quali il Traffic Festival di Torino, Festival Diagonal Jazz di Catanzaro, RomaJazzFestival2009 e Ciriè Arts & Jazz Festival con Stefano Battaglia, Festival TecnoTeatro, In/Off Camera (musiche per tre cortrometraggi del registra cecoslovacco Jan Svankmajer), Conservatorio Giuseppe Verdi per la Notte Paraolimpica di Torino, Festival Jazz AlLeu, Crash Festival, Auditorium del Lingotto per MeltinBox, PinoJazzFest2009, Inaugurazione del 25° Torino Film Festival di Nanni Moretti.
In parallelo alla loro attività, il 3quietmen sta lavorando in quartetto con il pianista Stefano Battaglia, musicista di fama internazionale, con il quale ha pubblicato il cd Bartokosmos, (Auand Records AU9018), meticolosa e profonda ricerca sul compositore ungherese Béla Bártok. “jazz rockeggiante e articolato. Lo avesse fatto qualche zorniano lo ascoltereste con attenzione, fatelo anche se i tre si chiamano Moro, Marchesano e Bruna.” (Blow Up – Enrico Bettinello) L’intesa straordinaria dei tre musicisti, la loro versatilità e il linguaggio fortemente innovativo generano durante il live un impatto imprevedibile ed emozionante. Il suono epico e visionario della tromba con il suond metropolitano della band è la miscela dominante per credere che questo trio di giovani musicisti possa lasciare una traccia decisamente originale nella musica di “confine”.

June, 13rd 1999: 3quietmen played at the Magdeburg Jazz Festival. It was the first live of one of the most interesting band of contemporary jazz, and 3quietmen immediately showed the international character of his musical project.
April, 2008: 3quietmen was invited in the beautiful Forbidden Concert Hall of Beijing, at the end of a Chinese tour that brought the three young musicians in the cities of Sheniang, Dalian and Changsha.
In these 10 years 3quietmen has carried out a lot of important experiences, as Turin Traffic Free Festival, Catanzaro Diagonal Jazz Festival, RomaJazzFestival2009 and Ciriè Arts & Jazz Festival with Stefano Battaglia, TecnoTeatro Festival, In/Off Camera Festival (music for films by the Czechoslovak director Jan Svankmajer), the night of Turin Olympic Games in the Turin “Giuseppe Verdi” Conservatory, AlLeu Jazz Festival, Crash Festival, MeltinBox in the Lingotto Auditorium, PinoJazzFest2009, the opening party in the Mole Antonelliana of Turin for the 25° Torino Film Festival of the director Nanni Moretti.
At the moment, 3quietmen is working in quartet with Stefano Battaglia, extraordinary pianist of international renown. The first project Bartokosmos – a deeply and scrupulous research about the Hungarian composer Béla Bártok, has been published in 2009 by the Auand label.
The extraordinary feeling, the versatility and the deeply innovative language of 3quietmen give an exciting and unexpected effect to the live set. The epic and visionary sound of the trumpet, together with the urban sound of the whole band creates a great mix, so that we can believe that these three young musicians could indeed leave an original sign in “border” music.
